What's New

This year we are back on British Air flight from Denver. If you are travelling from Colorado Springs, we will provide a transfer from Colorado Springs to DIA. As always, we can book you from nearly anywhere in the US. Also feel free to book your own air and we will adjust the price.

Theatre

We promise excellent seats to six of the most intriguing productions London theatre has to offer.  So far we have booked:

Show Theater Description
Coram Boy National Slaves, orphans and Handel's Messiah; the revival of last year's smash hit in the Olivier.
Don Juan in Soho Donmar Patrick Marber's adaptation sets Moliere's play in London, now.
Twelfth Night Old Vic Edward Hall'smuch acclaimed Propellor Theatre with an all male cast.
Antony and Cleopatra RSC Patrick Stewart and Harriet Walter (Queen Elizabeth in last year's Mary Stuart) star in this producion said to be the best in modern memory.
     
     

Excursions

Our local tour guide will show us around the city and the English countryside.   Our guides are always exceptionally knowledgeable, remarkably friendly, and full of good cheer.

 

Discussions

The hallmark of our London Tour!   THEATREWORKS Artistic Director Murray Ross will deliver daily lecures, preview the evening's theatre, and moderate discussions with special guests, including critics, actors, directors, lluminaries and working members of the British Stage.

 

The Hotel

The Charing Cross Thistle is within walking distance of many of London 's most famous attractions including Trafalgar Square, the National Gallery, the South Bank Center, and Westminster Abbey.

Not-So Fine Print

  • Please understand that the cost of the tour less the estimated fair market value of the goods and services received is a contribution to UCCS/THEATREWORKS and may be tax deductible. It is estimated that the contribution will be $450 per person.  This contribution is considered unrestricted and will be used to further the activities of  HEATREWORKS which include, but are not limited to, funding THEATREWORKS activities, administrative overhead, entertainment and donor appreciation functions (food, beverage, alcohol), etc. The University of Colorado is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization-Tax ID #84-6000555.

All tour fees and deposits are non-refundable.
